Since 2019, Škoda Electric's portfolio includes trolleybus ŠKODA 33Tr, which is a unique eighteen-meter, fully low-floor, three-axle trolleybus designed for public transport.
Škoda Electric supplies all the electric equipment for the trolleybus and performs a general assembly of the three-axle vehicle. The electric equipment is stored on the vehicle's roof. The trolleybus can be operated at a voltage of 600 or 750 V DC. The trolleybus can also be equipped with traction batteries. The modern Škoda vehicle has low energy and maintenance costs.
