Its primary purpose is to automate the driver's actions and plan the journey with respect to the timetable as well as energy consumption.

The system is designed and integrated into the modular hardware platform HYPEX. The platform is an efficient and high-performance computing and communication on-board device based on proprietary distribution of the Linux operating system, which makes it possible to combine all subsystems and control units into a single physical unit.
